WHAT I OFFER

more presence, more ease, more freedom. Come home to yourself.

THE ROOT SESSION AND THE BLOOM SESSION

Breathwork is therapy without words—a practice that meets you exactly where you are. Through guided breathing, you bypass the mind and tap directly into the body’s wisdom, allowing old emotions and energy to move without needing to relive the stories behind them. It’s a release that feels both grounded and expansive, helping you find clarity, calm, and connection to yourself.

In a Root Session, you arrive to release and ground; in a Bloom Session, you co-create your journey through a custom playlist inspired by your intentions. Each experience is unique, but the outcome is the same—coming home to yourself with more presence, ease, and freedom.

This is the work.

The honest kind: the kind that meets you where you are. These sessions are spaces to breathe, move, feel, and begin again.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

  • It’s a journey inward. Shamanic Transformative Breathwork isn’t about thinking your way through something, it’s about letting your body take the lead. Once the breath takes over, your nervous system starts doing the work for you. Through this breath pattern, your logical mind quiets and your body enters its natural healing state.

It opens the door to what’s underneath—the grief, shame, anger, numbness, whatever you’ve been carrying, sometimes for years. You don’t have to relive it; you get to release it.

This work isn’t about fixing, it’s about feeling. It’s where you meet yourself, raw and honest, without the stories or expectations. It’s embodied healing, no bypassing, no pretending everything’s fine. Just breath, body, and truth, all in one place.

  • I love this question. When I say “it meets you where you’re at,” I mean it. Have you ever had an experience in life where afterward you thought, “That was exactly what I needed and didn’t even know I needed it?” It’s that.

The people who feel they need to have a huge emotional release often end up smiling and feeling really good the whole time. The session meets them with, “You’ve done enough hurting. Here’s what’s next for you.” They leave feeling inspired and clear.

Those who feel lost often have tons of seemingly unrelated thoughts and memories come up, and in one big emotional expression, it all connects. The moral? Your subconscious and body will only bring up what it knows you’re ready for. It finds your edge.

  • Not inherently. If there is unfelt or unresolved trauma that you’re seeking to resolve, and your physical body and subconscious are ready, then yes, it absolutely can. This healing modality will find your edges but never unearth what isn’t being sought after.

  • If they serve no purpose and are not part of your intentions, no.

  • I love this question. The process of alkalosis is in full swing during Shamanic Transformative Breathwork. It’s a mouthful, and it’s a wild experience.

During the specific three-part breath pattern we use (belly, chest, exhale), your body drops into alkalosis. This is where your body expels carbon dioxide at a quicker rate than usual. Carbon dioxide is the waste your cells hold, so this is a rapid clearing of anything that isn’t healthy for your cells or your body—emotions, physical pain, ailments, blockages, and more.

In this state, your logical mind quiets so your body can shift its energy toward healing. This is important because humans naturally want to understand emotions intellectually. When the mind softens, your spiritual element can step in. Your soul and body communicate clearly without the chatter of the brain. That’s where it becomes hard to explain and more of an experience.

  • Absolutely. I’ve had clients say it felt physiologically similar to the onset of a panic attack, but that they felt empowered to move through it in a safe space with powerful intentions.

When alkalosis sets in and you’re in your process, the anxiety begins to evaporate. This practice is all about touchpoints—thoughts, emotions, memories, and knowings will come and go. You’re not engaging with them the same way you do in everyday life.

  • Clarity. Wisdom. A remembering of your worth, your purpose, and your truth.

Breathwork reconnects you to what’s already inside you but buried beneath the noise of everyday life. People often describe feeling like a weight has been lifted—physically, emotionally, and energetically. Through the breath, your body begins to release what it’s been holding onto: old stories, limiting beliefs, repressed emotions, and patterns that no longer serve who you’re becoming.

It’s less about becoming someone new and more about peeling back the layers that have kept you from feeling fully yourself.

  • Expect to feel more in tune—with yourself, your body, and your truth. In the days leading up to your session, you might notice your intention becoming clearer. You may even feel a wave of emotions: anticipation, excitement, or nervousness. That’s your subconscious preparing to release and receive.

During the session, you’ll move through layers of emotion, energy, and awareness. Afterward, most people describe feeling lighter, deeply calm, and connected, as if the static in their mind has quieted. Many experience moments of clarity or inspiration, while others feel like they’re floating on a “pink cloud” for a few days. Every session is unique because it meets you exactly where you are.

  • Come with an open heart and a clear intention. You don’t need to have it all figured out—just a sense of what you’re ready to release or call in.

In the hours before your session, eat light, stay hydrated, and give yourself space to slow down. Avoid caffeine or heavy meals so your body can stay grounded and present. It can also help to journal, stretch, or take a quiet moment to connect with yourself and set the tone for what you want to experience.

Most of all, trust that whatever unfolds is exactly what’s meant to. Your only job is to show up, breathe, and allow. I’ll also send you an email the day of your session detailing how to set up your space if we’re meeting virtually.

  • I love this question, and you might hate the answer: it’s intuitive.

I have clients who do a session once a year and others who do them every couple of months because they love the clarity and release. If you’re in the middle of something big and need extra support to process through it, we can meet as often as every week and a half to two weeks.

This time frame allows for integration and change to take place before revisiting the healing space with new information. Ultimately, it’s intuitive and up to you. I’ll help guide you by asking questions you can tune into so we can find a rhythm that feels right for you.

  • Not at all. Breathwork meets you exactly where you are, no belief system required. For some, it’s a deeply spiritual experience; for others, it’s a release, a way to clear the noise and come back to calm, clarity, and self-connection. It’s not about adopting new beliefs; it’s about meeting yourself as you are.

This work isn’t tied to any religion or doctrine, but it can beautifully complement whatever you already believe in. Whether you’re spiritual, religious, or simply curious, Breathwork has a way of deepening your connection to your own truth, enhancing—not replacing—what’s already sacred to you.

  • Yes. It’s totally okay to do while on your period, and in fact, right before or during can support the energy of release. The same goes for ovulation and the follicular phase, as it can enhance the clarity and “receiving” side of breathwork.

  • No, or at least not recommended. The process of alkalosis pulls a large amount of your body’s energy into clearing and healing. Pregnancy requires that energy for creation, and we don’t want to redirect it away from the growth of your baby.

  • Not typically. Rapid shifts in breath and energy movement can be too intense when your blood vessels already have high pressure.

If you feel strongly called to this work, I recommend talking with your doctor first. Then you and I can discern how to make this a safe space for you. I do work with clients who have health conditions, and by slowing the breath pattern, we can still access the healing and spiritual benefits without pushing the body too hard.

Consult with your medical provider before practicing Shamanic Transformative Breathwork if you have, or have a history of:

cardiovascular disease, angina, asthma, heart attack, high blood pressure, glaucoma, retinal detachment, osteoporosis, recent injury or surgery, any condition requiring regular medication, history of panic attacks or psychosis, severe mental illness, seizure disorders, family history of aneurysms, or are pregnant.

  • Yes. I’ve personally done this work while on medication and have facilitated sessions for clients taking various prescriptions. I always recommend checking with your provider first to make sure there are no potential side effects specific to your medication. Be informed, and we’ll take it from there.
